Alyssa Milano Sues Former Business Manager for $10 Million
Alyssa Milano has filed a $10 million lawsuit against her former business manger, Kenneth Hellie and his firm Hellie, Hoffer & Co.
Milano alleges Hellie forged her signature on checks, failed to pay overdue bills and taxes, and coerced her into making bad investments into a business of which he was also an investor, all of which left her and her husband David Bugliari "millions of dollars in debt and their credit in ruins."
The former "Charmed" star took to Twitter to confirm the story writing, "Sadly, this is true. Thank you to everyone for their concern. I appreciate your support."
Milano alleges her finances began to take a turn for the worse after Hellies mismanagement of a home remodeling project led her and Bugliari to spend $5 million on a house that is worth at most $3 million. The couple says they also racked up $376,950 in fines after accountants failed to notify them of building code violations.
