Related: About this forumTCM Schedule for Tuesday, December 7: Ernst Lubitsch - Part I
Today TCM marks the anniversary of the bombing of Pearl Harbor and the United States' entry into World War II.
Evening brings a different mood and the famed Lubitsch touch as holiday favorite The Shop Around the Corner and comic delights such as Ninotchka and Heaven Can Wait shine in the TCM schedule.
And if you miss The Shop Around the Corner tonight, don't worry. It'll be back later this month when TCM celebrates holiday classics with a multi-day schedule of favorites.
Casting note: By my count, the 24-hour schedule includes three features with Felix Bressart, two with Melvyn Douglas, and one with Classic Films Group patron saint Robert Montgomery.
