First is "American Hot Wax," a wonderful biofilm of the late Alan Freed with Tim McIntire in the title role and appearances by rockers including Jerry Lee Lewis and Chuck Berry. And it's not on DVD.
The other is "Hollywood Party," a star-studded hour-long comedy with The Three Stooges, Laurel and Hardy, Lupe Velez, Jimmy Durante and, would you believe, Mickey Mouse. It's not Hollywood's best comedy, but the stars make it worth it.
These are both buried in late night, but well worth setting up your DVR for. (And they'll be streamed after by TCM for a short time.)
