It really is about slavery. Have no idea if that's in the movie.
Have you ever read Fahrenheit 451? I finally got around to reading it a couple of years ago. Everyone thinks it's about literal book burning, but it's not. It's clearly about the Holocaust and the killing of Jews. Only I've never seen that interpretation of the novel.
