Great satire of 80s greed. Unfortunately David Mamet turned into a crazy right winger in the 2000s (or at least became more obvious about it)

Sad. Wonder if he's stlll feeling all maga now that trump is an obvious crook and in grave legal danger.

That movie was canon to us sales folk back in the day.

Barely 5 minutes and he owns that movie. One of Jack Lennon’s best as well.

That defining part depicting the pressure of working in sales was written especially for him and especially for the film version.

The dialogue is nearly incomprehensible. I don't recall much of a plot, unless constant swearing is somehow a plot.

You're the only one on this board who doesn't recognize the movie as a great piece of film making.

Think about that.

who has an independent opinion about things. And given that all of nine different people here have posted, I'm going to make a guess that I'm not the only one here who didn't care for it.

and yours is certainly an outlier on this film.
