If you are a "Metropolis" fan ...

Vudu.com has a sale on the digital version of the remastered film. It's only $5. It's the Kino Lauber version. It's miles better than the public domain versions. I have the blu-ray and it's awesome. (FYI, I checked Apple TV and it’s $14.99.)

This remastered version is what I had been waiting for and following the Murnau foundation and the long process to produce this restored version…bought that version right after we went to a local boutique cinema back in 2010 to see the film.

It's actually been on sale since this last Tuesday, and since Tuesday is usually the day they change sales, it's my guess it'll be on sale through Monday. A word to the wise.
