... is show ALL of the movies that won Best Picture Oscars. Starting with Wings, the first winner, and then Broadway Melody, the second one, and so on through the years until the most recent ones and concluding with the current reigning one. That's what, 97 or 98 films? Show one or two per night during prime time and it would take two or three months. They're Turner CLASSIC Movies, doing this would live up to that name.

Too many have mostly male leads. I can't stand when they get on their war movie binges.

I would rather they showed movies based on Oscar-winning performances. Then at least half of them would feature female leads.

Expensive. And not even doable, I imagine.

I'd rather see a collective grouping of Best Picture nominees for any single year. Take 1939, for example. TCM controls all the title below. This would be an outstanding line-up for the day.

GONE WITH THE WIND
DARK VICTORY
GOODBYE, MR. CHIPS
LOVE AFFAIR
MR. SMITH GOES TO WASHINGTON
NINOTCHKA
OF MICE AND MEN
STAGECOACH
THE WIZARD OF OZ
WUTHERING HEIGHTS

Look at how many of those movies had strong female leads. Just sayin'.
