A thousand needle workers volunteer to finish dead woman's quilt

I saw the original tweets on Twitter yesterday. This woman buys projects at estate sales and finishes them, mostly embroidery but she found the beginnings of a quilt and this is what happened...

I have so many unfinished craft kits and one quilt. So kind of people to take an interest in this woman’s life work.

Once the embroidery work is done and the blocks are sewn together, there should be a giant quilting bee to quilt the top. Wish I could take part in the fun.
