Just read that John Mayall has died. What a great loss.

Back in college, they shot enough footage for 3 episodes at the University of Chicago.
John & his band was one of the acts.
I remember he played a Fender 12 string electric & he wore the strap on his right shoulder. I didn't even play guitar then & I thought it looked uncomfortable as heck.
He was a great band leader & a faithful steward of blues.
