I saw them sing this live at an amusement park back east somewhere (lived on the West Coast all but 6 years of my childhood), It was around ‘74 or ‘75–I was 12 or 13. We lived in TN at the time, but I think we were on a road trip and spent the day at an amusement park. I remember how overwhelmed I was to see a band singing a song that I knew from the radio. So, even though we didn’t plan it that way, it was kind of my first concert.

My next “real” concert was the California Jam ll, when I was 16.

Russ's guitar has wonderful springy tone, too.
