I'll never forget seeing them in the little mountain bar near Santa Cruz. It was a glorious place, so secluded and had such stellar talent. I first heard Pat Travers and later the Doobie Brothers there when they first got together. Awesomeness!!! I was even under-age. If you showed an ID, you got in, reglardless of what the ID said! It was the highlight of my first years living in CA.
