Love his tone, too.
Love his ultra-subtle use of the whammy.
Solo starts fugue-like then becomes very linear. I favor that string muting he does, especially on the lower pitch strings. I do that a lot.
The song seems like prog-metal.

Sorry. I'm good with deep roots acoustic blues, but I can take or leave electric blues.
I'm sure he's good, but I have a hard time listening to a whole tune.

Elements of the JS series & the JEM, but has a 1" longer scale, intended to be down tuned (commonly D, with a drop C 6th string).
I played one at Chicago Music Exchange a couple years ago. Feels weird at first. He sure looks like he got very used to it.
Nice looking guitars, except for one model I don't like. The Custom he's using is probably over 3 grand. For him, that's money well spent.
You're right about the other guy.
