I was in my 30’s when I found out Little Feat is not considered one of the pillar bands of rock music along with The Beatles, The Stones, The Who, Led Zeppelin, and Pink Floyd. They have always been huge here in the DC area and I grew up on them just as much as the other bands listed. It was mind blowing when I realized they aren’t as well-known and adored everywhere.

Saw them play with the Dead in Maine at Oxford Plains. A time stamped in my mind.

Little Feat was included in Rolling Stone's Readers’ Poll: 10 Acts We’d Like to See Enter Rock Hall of Fame in 2017. All the acts on the list have since been inducted, EXCEPT Little Feat, Warren Zevon, and Jethro Tull.
