oops! Today was Freda Payne's 82nd birthday and I have to hear that song again.

"Band Of Gold" is one of those hits that burn hot and fast like flash paper.
We soon forget all about it until we're reminded on occasion. This is that occasion.

For the naysayers, you try singing a three minute song that puts your kids through college. haha
