lots of comments about the deadpan audience but from what I understand, they were asked to be silent, I guess this was recorded for something official

sittin' there all prim and proper-like? I'm only like 2/3 in and they look like they are watching a classical ballad.
BTW always loved this one, and the vocals especially!

It was weird seeing Richie playing a guitar that wasn't a Strat!
He makes a mistake on one of those trills. Hand is in the wrong place.
I've got a live DVD of them where Jon puts his hand down in the wrong spot on the organ, and Richie picks up a water bottle & throws it at him.
I didn't see Jon throw anything at hom for the same error!
Richie could be difficult to work with.
But, he sure could pick good singers!
