And while I did learn from it the majority was so far above me that it was insane. Morse rocks.

After developing my own style of plectrum-free fingerpicking I lost interest in learning anyone else's style. I still love listening to fast-picking virtuosos though. His playing is exhilarating.

When I stopped using a pick altogether I developed my own unorthodox style. Not being delimited by trying to sound like somebody else was liberating.
