Like a Hurricane - Neil Young

Always loved this, and with all the news of a big hurricane comin' on, well, this just popped up in my memory.
Stick in for the instrumental section starting around 2:30.
Unrelated to song, but sending safety vibes to anyone near Helene's path.

He is incomparable when it comes to his ability to punch out a heavy rocker like this and then turn around and play a song like “The Needle and the Damage Done”. So freaking versatile.

I listen to Hurricane once a month or more, because the electric solo at the end is just so friggin awesome.

Neil and Crazy Horse has been my favorite for 45 years and this song ranks in his top 3 as far as I'm concerned. All I need to hear is the first three notes and it's time to rock. Remembering when he debuted this on SNL with the fans blowing i=on him and the band.

I'm not someone who really pays attention to lyrics, but these are phenomenal.

You are like a hurricane
There's calm in your eye
And I'm gettin' blown away
To somewhere safer where the feeling stays
