1. It's unusual that studio musicians would be named on a cover.

Greg Reeves attended high school near me. I believe he dropped out and headed west with his bass looking for fame and fortune.
Although Neil Yong liked him, Stills couldn't stand him Things got stressful when he started bringing his own songs in for the others to learn. Finally Steven Stills fired him when he said he wanted to become an "Indian Witch Doctor". Deja Vu.

The first album was photographed by the legendary Henry Diltz. He never forgave himself for posing them out of order.

His photos are an iconic history of '60s rock:
If it happened on the West coast, Henry was there.

A casualty of paradise lost.

His photos are so good because he hung out with the rock stars, especially those close to Mama Cass. He had a lot of rock cred.
