I just googled you post title and found this. I thought it was Paul Kantor but wanted to verify. They did a combo tour w all the Jeffersons, Starship and Hot Tuna in one show in 1989.

I think there was just too much talent in the Jefferson Airplane. Gracie and Paul had their own vision of their musical future. Jorma, Jack, Papa John, and Sammy Piazza had other ideas.
