It's part lipsynched to the Machine Head version, but the guitar solo is nothing like the recorded version.
Gillan, if he's not lipsynching, is phrasing identical to the record, plus there is a harmony part nobody is singing.
Then during the solo we see at least 3 different takes, because Richie isn't even wearing the same clothes.
Finally, the tubes in Lord's organ aren't glowing, so it doesn't appear it was even turned on.
Guitar solo edited into the recorded version to seem more live?

They definitely recorded Machine Head in Montreaux.
And they played it live a million times.
Just an odd video of it.
