Desolation Boulevard is a great album. Guitar, drums, and vocals are all great. So many great metal moments, too. The jam at the end of Sweet F. A. is so fucking hard core.

Solid Gold Brass, White Mice, & The Six Teens are close. The album this was on was one the best hard rock records ever.

...it was a duet! After Brian Connolly got too bad to tour, they didn't replace him.
The bass player just sang all the songs. All 4 were good singers.
This vocals on this song bear that out, although there are old school studio tricks employed:
