I'm interested in a looper pedal, any recs? Can a looper do things along the lines of, say, a Robert Fripp Soundscape?
Thanks!

(4,945 posts)Very intuitive layout, stereo ins and outs, 5 minutes max loop, limitless overdubs, reverse and half-speed features, operates on batteries or adapter, small footprint, $170 from MF.
A looper paired with delay(s) will let you get Frippetronic.

(4,278 posts)I was actually thinking of that one, as I have had several emails from them with some very interesting demo videos. Liking the price too...and considering that Tuesday is my birthday, I just may have to order one
Thanks again!

Super quiet. Versatile. Fairly priced and bullet proof.

(4,278 posts)I was ordering the TC looper, and also decided on an Electro-Harmonix Superego
and a TC delay. However, MF was offering a deal where if you bought 3 TC pedals, you'd get the looper free, so now I'm getting the Hall of Fame Reverb, Corona Chorus and Flashback Delay (all TC), and can send off for the looper free. Very exciting

(4,876 posts)I have used Boss loopers in the past and they have worked well.. TC always seems to be a little more expensive.. I have a TC vocal processor that I am just in love with.. No pitch correction or anything, just effects and a harmonizer. Works great for solo acoustic stuff...
