And I drag out his birthday present guitar and play it. Hey all our one son will be thirteen on Sunday and I bought him a Edwards Japan les Paul I think it is a 135 is what case candy receipt of bill of sale says it was used. Anyway I could not do it because he would have noticed guitar. but I had friend do the jimmy page super circuit wiring period correct caps new pots and Seymours whole lotta humbuckers. And I'm gonna say this about this Edwards guitars. It is sweet , as collector of mij guitars the company in Nashville with a G on headstock should be ashamed in the pricing and quality of the guitars they build especially the standards. For half the price you get awesome tone wood I think African mahogany put together with hide glue nitro finish , a deep neck tenon that is a must for me on any les Paul. The herd we have has burny tokai Greco Edwards navigator and prs and one guitar with G on headstock a 95 standard it was a consignment purchase. And only reason I bought it was because it is tone monster no weight relief and has long neck tenon. Not sure how it was built that way I thought G out Nashville stopped long tenons in late 80s only get it with custom shop. This is our second Edwards and I'm really pleased with the guitars they build. Our two guys they are page trower beck srv Hendrix understudies I do think he will be pleased.

(1,537 posts)Its hard to scrape together $3K for a Gibson when you have so many other alternatives that can be customized and still come in at less than half the price. I love my Epi Les Paul and am not ashamed to own one.
