He's been doing online lessons for many years and it's free. He asks for donations and the newest content on there is a subscription but all of his older videos are on the site. He breaks things down very nicely and starts at an absolute beginner level.

Pick a tune you'd like to learn.
Use it as a search term, add "lesson", "cover", or "chords" to the search.
Or enter "how to play (name of song)"
for instance-

You'll likely turn up several examples of videos on youtube, or chord charts and diagrams.
Some will be better than others, poke around until you find one you like.

I sometimes like just pulling up chord charts and exploring unfamiliar chords, or finding a new way of playing older ones.

I can do tabs. I don’t have much of a musical ear but tabs make sense to me. I just have to work on dexterity.

Learning chords is the best place to start so you're on the right track.

I have a Squire by Fender. My wife bought it for me oh 10 years ago at a single shop guitar place about 10 years ago.

A friend of ours used to manage a Guitar Center. He said two things are recession proof - alcohol and music equipment stores. We’ll see if that holds true.

I'm a restaurant veteran with lots of friends in alcohol sales. Alcohol sells especially well during recessions. I was about to buy a Fender Strat right about now but save the cash until I go back to work (almost three weeks laid off). Got a big birthday coming up so guitar first and then another amp for my birthday. Squier makes great stuff nowadays and Epiphone is on fire if you like the classic style guitars like me.
