Related: About this forumAny artists here who write/record/release original music that use CD Baby?
I've been told they do a lot of the work, ie: Get you set up on streaming platforms like Spotify
I'd appreciate any input, guidance

I've had a couple of friends use it - no complaints, but they do take a cut of whatever you make. Nt

(70,772 posts)2. have my CD and tracks listed thru them titles L.A. Shake and Tell Me That You're Gay....
sold some CD's early on and they list u via many online sites like apple music, youtube, and scores more
never had any problems with them. however if u want to change to another service it might get complicated.
if u go to their website there is no search function or way to look up artists by name which is a drag

I have used CD Baby, but that was for the production of actual CDs, quite a while back.
I used DistroKid for digital distribution of this song, back in September 2019:
I was recently notified by DK that they had placed the tune to yet another streaming platform, more than 2 years after the original release date.
So they monitor and notify you of updates to the distribution.
