How awesome was that. Completely changed my musical world.

That was before alternative music even had a settled upon name. We used to call it college music in high school and MTV called it post-modern at the time. I lived in a podunk town and because of MTV I discovered The Smiths, The Cure and a hundred other legends because of back in the day MTV.

I was like what's wrong with this guy? there are literally dozens of posts of it. But then I realized I'm the idiot. When you said video you didn't mean a pic of album cover you meant video. I guess they never did it on TV or make a video. I still get a kick out of how mainstream america went nuts in a good way over songs that were clearly about gay hook up places. Sleazy might have been a bridge to far in 1979. Today it's like PG 13.
