progress on incredibly slow-going covers project.

I decided I wanted to do this project years ago, but have only recorded 2 songs. It's called "Tape." It's songs that meant a lot to me when I was a young teenager and still mean something to me today, even if the meaning has changed.

(I was a teenager in the 80s in the Chicago area and collected a lot of vinyl from Wax Trax.)

I just made a video for the most recent recording. My computer is broken, so I used my son's MacBook. I haven't learned all the functions yet.

Desert Kisses, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Kaleidoscope, 1980

This is the first song we recorded. 24 Hours, Joy Division, Closer, 1980

We still have to remix it. It's also an on-the-fly video, because I was anxious to share with the other guitar player, David Romanelli, who collaborates with me when I can get him out here.

The Cure is next. I have been practicing A Forest.

Just happy and excited that I still get a chance to play and share music, even if the work is periodic and the sharing is all online.
