Related: About this forumReflective surfaces for photography, just FYI for any interested.
This first picture was made on an Apple Ipad that I bought (non functioning) thinking it's screen was a front surface reflector. Turns out it has a glass plate over it so there are multiple reflective surfaces, ie, the top of the glass, the bottom of the glass and the surface of the LCD screen. The result is a confusing multiple image in the reflection.
The next image was made using a replacement screen for a Lenovo tablet (obsolete so quite cheap). It is a true single surface reflector so there is only one image reflected. The results are a much cleaner less confusing image.
Just a bit of information for any who are interested.
I have some really neat images in mind if I can pull them off . . .

(855 posts)The Lenovo screen should work just fine though. Neat effects. Plenty can be done with old/obsolete things.

Hey, better too many than too few!
And it's gorgeous too.

(5,159 posts)to stage the azurite photo I posted a few weeks ago. As you note, there were multiple images in the reflection. I liked the results, though, and others here seemed to like the photo. I got the idea from your post of a spider pic--thanks! This is useful and interesting info, Andy.
The second photo is intriguing. The first image is still missing. You might have inadvertently deleted it from postimage.
