Last night we had a lavender sky at sunset. There was a red glow beneath it but much of the sky was lavender. Was really cool but I didn't tale pictures.

(95,679 posts)Definitely smoke enhanced! Fire season in the NW and northern Rockies is on. We're having lots of lightning with our heat wave and that starts fires. And then there are tourists but so far they haven't burnt down any parks or forests yet. The wildlife have nailed a few but it's still only halfway through the season... both tourism and wildfires.
