I like how the pattern on the tomato skin and the pattern in the pottery glaze compliment each other. Thank you for sharing.

I photographed my still life in what I call a "light box." It's a medium-sized box with fabric walls held up with plastic tubes that fit together.
In the top of the box are the lights. I have a switch outside where I control how much light is used.

I really control all the visual elements in this box, and it's fun!
I appreciate your comments!

I think I realized that subliminally. Just now you mentioned it and I realized how true it is.
I appreciate how you helped me realize my motive in taking this photo!

I'm gobsmacked, really! I've never seen myself as creative, even though I know I have times when I am. It's strange!
I do know what looks good to me. That's certain.

Thank you again.

It was actually easy getting the bowl's rim inside the rectangle. I just stood in front of my light box and looked at the LED window on the back of the camera till the bowl was where I wanted it!

The camera really works with me to get the photo just right.

The bowl made for a lovely grouping. I've used it before and it always pleases me.
