For me, it's just about time for one of my favority parts of the day. The evening turkey sandwich on home made bread. Sitting her now having some hot egg nog with brandy.

My husband and I feel very fortunate that we have such wonderful family. Our daughters have grown up and are now independent and living the life they want. Their children are thriving.

The Channel Islands are constantly changing and not always for the better. I do consider them a challenge!

I know full well how much I would miss California if I had to move.

Actually, we're not related at all! Maybe by marriage; her oldest son and our oldest daughter are married. But they live far away and have no taste for travel.
