It's a windy spot, open to the ocean breezes. It's probably some sort of plastic that can take the beating.

And the vegetables look yummy. That head of cabbage is scrumptious.

I've driven by it many times, but never had the real opportunity to photograph it. Today was the day!

I loved the cabbage wrapped snugly in its own leaves.

How nice to see sunshine and green leafy vegetables. Today where I am it is cold, gray, and we had half rain/half snow most of the day.

I was actually feeling quite warm while I was there! Took off some layers after I got home.

I'm sorry your weather is so lousy.

But I also like those leafy greens.

I'm an hour north of the 45th parallel and it is +53F right now as sunset approaches. Was up to +57F earlier. Sunset is around 4:40pm this week.

Sounds like you're in for some chilly weather. We will have some too, eventually. It's not unusual to have warm weather through Christmas.

The rainy season typically starts in January.

Now arrives mostly after January anymore. The Thanksgiving ski festival on the other side of Yellowstone was canceled this year because there was no snow.

to take pictures of. I was kinda waiting for Christmas wreaths and bounteous piles of winter squash, but yet again you have surprised me. Your pictures truly do put a silly grin on my face! They are magnificent and make me ashamed that I don't eat enough vegetables, nor do I walk about outside and soak in the beauty of the flora we are blessed with. I have to force myself to walk around outside; I'm normally quite sedentary and love to sit at my computer! I like to eat vegetables but should probably eat more of them.

66 degrees is not too bad! It was actually hot here today; I think it got to 80 degrees. I was glad to walk through some shade! I use a walker much of the time, and today I sat on it in the shade. It's not the most comfortable seat but it works. And I was more rested when I got up!
