'New' was probably yesterday, when I caught Orion!
Was cloudy last night. 
My gawd, you really got it.
I saw it from my kitchen window, but it was dinnertime and I was up to my elbows in making dinner! Also, my track record when the moon is that small and delicate, is not good.
I will try tomorrow when it'll be up a bit later and dinner will be done.
