although it is in Tampa, the park is owned by the city of St. Petersburg from a time long ago when municipalities bought up land farther and farther away for the purpose of securing water sources. Very little development as a park and trees are left to their own life cycles so there are many of these pine trees that are a photographers dream

Black vultures creep me out for some reason. Don't ask me why, they just do. Give me turkey vultures any day!
