Couldn't get the picture.

When in the hospital for my gallbladder extraction I noticed a surprising light effect.
The red LED for the TV, essentially a point source, gave me a look that reminded me of the lacy paterns of the Native American dream catchers. A dotted red circle with a spider web inside. This was when looking at the light with my right eye.
I should take a picture of that I thought. Then I remembered that my camera wasn't going to see the same image my cataract eye could see. Oh well.

I get the same effect with blue and green point sources with my cataract eye.

I'll have to enjoy different effects until my surgery in early April.

Aging has some interesting gifts.
