Brown Skimmer Dragonfly (Possibly) - AKA "Snake Doctor"



My dad was a professor of entomology at the U. of Georgia, and he would have LOVED this photo! But he preferred that highly scientific, "binomial nomenclature" entomological descriptive: "Snake Doctor." So that's what I always call them.

Snake Doctor is what we called them in Georgia, but have never heard it used here in Florida
