(13,324 posts)We have very little to compare, mostly some farmers markets in the summer. The freshness of the fruit and produce means much better flavor.

In the US we don't have the open spaces for them the same way as they do with active public squares near city centers that are walkable.

Perhaps the waste is handled better also. I can't speak to that.
