This is a pretty ordinary photo, but I've got a good reason to post it tonight . . .

Somehow my Olympus camera had gotten into RAW mode, where I didn't want it. I'm used to jpegs and I wanted to stay with them. But I couldn't figure out how to get back there.

My attempts let to more confusion and strange settings that totally flummoxed me. I thought maybe Gato could help, so I messaged him on Facebook. We tried all kinds of stuff but got nowhere.

Finally I decided to just put the camera settings back to the factory numbers. And then I took a photo to show Gato!

This was that photo. And that's why I wanted to post it tonight--as a thank you to Gato, for his support and cheerful mood. He is a great friend!

for Gato!

It's a rather large bas relief that hangs across from me in my study. I see it every time I sit down at my computer.

...the image file format would have been the easy thing to fix, but it was the strange issue with the LED screen that prevented you from doing it.

i'm glad you got it going. we need your photos here!

I felt so isolated, and you took that away. That was so important!

As long as I can get that camera to work, my photos will be here . . .
