Of course, they have to be digitized so you can show them to us!

And you will also need to get a photo hosting site that will make it possible to display your photo here.

There are instructions here: https://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1036&pid=59987

Its title is How to post photos to DU!

Made in Sweden.

I can develop and print black and white but other stuff keeps me about 500% busy.

Will load up the view camera some day.

I have a beard, and will get a cowboy hat and scare people in Yosemite some day with my Ansel Adams imitation.

I think that all commercial printing is inkjet or whatever, so everything is digitized at some point.

I plan to get a new scanner for all the old color slides.

There is NOTHING like a 2 1/4 square color slide, unless it’s a 4x5 transparency. I got old projectors at thrift stores before they become impossible to find. Lamps might be really difficult to find if needed.

I am slowly getting back into film photography. Used a coolpix digital camera with 24 - 1000mm equivalent zoom for about a decade! It did everything I needed, and took very little time from the million other things in my life.

I went from that to mirrorless digital and as I noted, easing back into film.
I did have to spend money on repairs to the “box camera” (Hasselblad) since a spring sprung after about 50 years of use.
So that slowed me down. Not that I needed any delays.

Ask anything more specific if you want info. Lots of experience in this group.

Ken Rockwell has tons of advice!! This refers specifically to film.

There’s a series of books by Ansel Adams (The negative, the print, and so on … ) that are great learning material.
I have a copy of his book “Examples” and it is a great inspiration.

Have fun.

Most you normally find are 4 by 5.
300mm. lens is "normal" on 8 by 10.
4 by 5 is the largest film that fits any enlarger I've ever seen.
8 by 10 makes some fine contact prints. (Not in my experience log)
