Mist Rising after 24-Hours of Rain on the Idaho Panhandle Fires (7/30/2024)
I got 1.55" of rain (36-hour storm total) at my fire lookout tower. That was great, but we have an excessive temperature watch, critical fire weather, and lightning .. all back for the weekend.

The layers of clouds, sky, hills, the mist and those magnificent trees! You really have a magical touch.
And picturesque because it's got to be accompanied by a strong smell of doused campfire.
