Blackberry through a 35mm f1.8 lens

Last edited Thu Aug 15, 2024, 01:35 PM - Edit history (1)

The 35mm lens comes closest to our natural field of view. Photos I’ve taken with longer or wider lenses don’t look quite as natural as those taken with my 35mm. The lens has a magnification ratio of 1:2 on a full-frame camera. That’s not true macro (1:1), but close enough to retain some fine details in a tightly-cropped photo.

This photo was taken with the same lens

These are wonderful! That lens is really good. I admire your ability to capture such detail in these very different photos.

It works well for just about anything I shoot, with the exception of birds and other distant and fast-moving wildlife. For that I rely on the 100-400mm.
