This market isn't quite as exciting as the one in Manhattan Beach, but it holds its own.

(3,574 posts)I have lovely markets and farm stands all around right now in central Maine, but too many have vanished from my old western New York home.
Your gorgeous celebrations, Peggy, are a worthy tribute to the goodness that farms and farmers create for us. And every picture makes me want to dive through the frame.

(746 posts)I also love the berry boxes photo. The colors and and the angle are so lovely. What are the little yellow fruits? Kumquats? All the vegetables look delicious. Thanks for all the great photos!

(152,214 posts)I've seen those little yellow fruits before, but for the life of me, I cannot remember their name! I don't think they're kumquats.
