The bush was in full bloom in late April and bloomed again in June. There are only a few branches with flowers, but I've never before seen it bloom in November. I broke off a sprig to get a closeup under good lighting.

(103,811 posts)Of the lilacs around here never bloomed this year at all. My buddy's neighbor has a raspberry patch that was producing a second crop these past couple weeks.
It was +62F here today in SW MT... warmer to the east.

(103,811 posts)In weeks and they shut the sprinklers off about the same time and we still have green grass on our lawns. It isn't growing tall but it's still green and barefoot-worthy.

(29,808 posts)Mostly just on the top most branches, not a lot, and they are a darker lavender than the blooms in the spring. They smell just as good.
