Taken today at Longwood Gardens. The plant is in the bean family and is native to Bolivia.

It looks so much like a row of shrubs we had alongside our driveway in the old house: Bottlebrush plants!

I’d love to see what the tree looks like, both in bloom and NOT in bloom. Does it drop its leaves for winter?

I LOVE this stuff!

HIGHLY recommend the L. A. County Arboretum. Just WUNNNNNNNderful stuff for the psyche, for de-stressing, and for your own peace of mind. SO calming and restorative. I think it must be all that greenery or something.
