The flowers and the berries! You must have some warm weather there. We've been having spring-like weather off and on here. Today it's on; tomorrow it could be off. Who knows? That's Michigan!

How do I do it? Well, the farmers grow the produce, bring it to the farmer's market and I bring my camera!

California is noted for its mild climate and many crops grow year round. I'm there for them! Some of them might be grown in hot houses, but I'm not sure.

So that's how I do it! Taking these pictures satisfies my soul all the time.

I am grateful for whatever gifts I have.

The bright reds today really shout out! You always manage to find and capture the best and the brightest!

Now, you know how I am about sharing! It's who I am.

The bright colors draw my attention, always.

The fuzz on those red flower buds is tingling my fingers all the way to here!

I suspect that for once, I was the appropriate distance from the flowers. That's really key.

But also, because I'm using Olympus equipment. They are famous for their sharpness. I've never had such sharp, clear photos before. The camera and the lens work together electronically and this is what happens.

Inspired by our friend Mousetoescamper I made quite a trek with a friend to catch the spring spectacle. I knew I couldn’t at all do justice to the blazing and subtle displays, so I took only a few souvenir pictures and simply bathed in the beauty. I admire the skill and aesthetic sense of you both and am always grateful for the way you share your experiences and your vision. True artists!
