(5,046 posts)are beautiful. At the Huntington Botanical Gardens they have a row of Agapanthus near a huge oak tree where lots of hummingbirds hang out.

(156,147 posts)I love the Agapanthus, esp. when they're first opening. So much mystery and beauty! I'll bet the ones at the Huntington are phenomenal.

I really wanted to capture the just-opening flowers today. I love getting close-ups!
And yes, I hear you about the sandwiches! Haven't tried them, but we get the quiche every week; my husband cuts them into thirds for our breakfast. They make a great meal, along with the weekly berries.
