Pepper Had The Zoomies -- Shadow Tried To Keep Up!

Our Granddog Pepper's here visiting. She's two years old with more energy than the Energizer Bunny.

She loves to "help" Laurie with tasks.

Yesterday she and Shadow romped around in recently fallen snow.

Occasionally they may have a difference of opinion.

But then the chase is on.

Shadow thought she'd catch up to Pepper on the porch —

but Pepper pulled a U-Turn. The chaser became the chasee.

The girls met back on the porch. Called it a draw.

Came inside to be warm and dry.

Good Girls. A puppy with pep ~

and an 8 1/2 year old puppy at heart.

I will be napping in front of the fireplace this afternoon too. We're in the midst of a snow storm.

Years ago we had a rescue Dalmation that laid closer to the fireplace than you could hold your hand.

Sophie used to do the snow zoomies like Pepper. Now she’s more “Eh, been there, done that.”

Love the napping photos in front of the warm stove! Two good girls. TY George!

And I can smell the snow. Makes me a bit homesick.

Shadow is beautiful. Pepper will learn a lot from her mentor.

Thank you for inviting us all along for a romp in the snow. You have no idea how much this gives to us all.

They were loving the snow, and here are my kitty and I, burrowed under covers with just a light covering of snow so far. Of course, it IS coming in sideways, withh wind chill of 0 degrees! Pet all the babies for me.

And saw the same scenario play out, a young dog running circles back and forth while the older dog was calm and did things at his leisure
