Housemate and I were, with so many sunsets like this after our move to the Appalachian foothills. We had chairs set up on the west patio and timed our after dinner wine to watch the sun go down over the mountains to our SW.
Sunrises were so often just as beautiful coming up over the mountains from the east and south side of the house and could be watched from the front porch with morning coffee, which he did. From my bed, I could watch through patio doors; thus, I just stayed there and watched, mostly thru my eyelids.
