The Handmaid's Tale - spoilers/theory through S3 Ep 6

Yep - I'm still with this sadistic anxiety inducing HULU show.

So a few episodes ago June basically saves Serena Joy from killing herself via arson and takes her out of the house.

At the time - the song I Don't Like Mondays (Boomtown Rats) is playing.

Looking at the Promo for this week (walking to her daughter's school with the Commanders Wife) - there is a lot of focus on Hannah. In particular her education, what she's learning as a Commander's wife in training, June going to her daughter's home, etc. etc.

What do you think - you think there could be an attack on June's daughter's school to get her out? Or that the resistance could trigger an attack on a school?

The Boomtown Rats song is about a school shooting that took place in California by a 16 year old girl in the late 70's. A reporter called around to homes in the area until they found her - and asked -

Tell me why you did it?

I don't like Mondays.

Or - could Serena joy and the Gilead leadership be plotting an attack on Luke that hurts children in Canada to get back Nichole?

but Ann Dowd is killing it, just killing it this year. The set design and costumes are nothing short of brilliant.

Stop Reading if you haven't watched it yet - but I know YOU have . . .

SPOILER BELOW

The Martha that was killed was also black. I know folks are trying to have at it over this - but the book eliminates non white folks entirely.

And yes - the black handmaid - maybe the music doesn't tie in to each episode directly. NOW I know - I don't Like Mondays was telling us a little something that was going to happen.
