(21,613 posts)I dont mind Colbert, Trevor Noah or Seth Myers broadcasting from their offices.
Jimmy Kimmel has a small number of socially distanced & masked staff as his audience.

I never watch Fallon, unless there happens to be someone I just have to see.

(32,069 posts)We used to really like them all, but have since trashed all Fallon shows because he still keeps showing POTUS tripping up the steps of AF1. Hate that, my husband looks at me and I just said thats it Im done with Fallon.

(10,599 posts)In that time slot, I much prefer Colbert (my usual), and Kimmel. Perhaps it has to do with the political jokes, but I find them far funnier than The Tonight Show.
Perhaps it's just a thing with that show. Weren't Johnny Carson & Jay Leno also very Conservative?

(10,599 posts)Why would he? They can work fine from home I'm sure.
Perhaps it's because there isn't much to joke about now that we have an intelligent President.

(15,537 posts)Without a live audience or guests in attendence. Broadway is closed until at least May and maybe the fall. Cuomo has allowed avenues that seat 10,000 or more to open at a very limited capacity. The Ed Sullivan theater only seats 475 people.
